2023/2024 Annual Campaign

Ignite Curiosity | Explore Passions | Inspire Excellence

Kindergarteners excitedly collaborate to build a structure out of cardboard tubes and clothes pins that is strong enough to support an apple. A fourth grader applies her coding skills to zip a Sphero robot around the room. An eighth grader proudly demonstrates how to operate the robot he built. High school students get creative as they redesign Ford Field in 3D virtual reality. These are all examples of how from corner to corner and year after year, your donation to the Northville Educational Foundation will greatly impact all of the students in our district.

More than ever, our students and schools need your support—not just for their education, but our kids’ social and emotional well-being. We put a lot of responsibilities on our schools so we need to make sure they have the resources to do all we ask of them.

Among the many teachers and students who will benefit from your generous support are;

Mrs. Chenoweth and Mrs. Davis, the district’s wonderful new STEAM teachers. They need Legos, Keva planks, Spheros, Tinkertoys, and more to fill the beautiful, new elementary school Maker Spaces. These supplies are the tools they need to inspire students to imagine, experiment and create.

Mrs.Cullen, Mr. Pak and Mrs. Reader, just a few of the middle and high school Project Lead the Way teachers. Every day they encourage students to explore their passions around bio-med, robotics and engineering through hands-on, project based experiences like dissecting sheep hearts, building VEX robots, and creating solutions to everyday problems.

  • The fifty teachers who were awarded Innovative Grants the past November. The thirty wonderful and creative projects they are implementing will impact thousands of students this year and thousands more in the years to come.

  • Mrs. Bush, a dedicated social worker, who needs Second Step kits to help teach social and emotional skills to K-5 students. By coaching them on empathy, emotional management and problem solving, she is preparing kids to handle the big challenges as well as the little ones that they face every day. Lessons that they will carry with them into middle and high school.

  • Rishika, Jennifer and Rebecca, students from the NHS Color My World club, who are committed to raising awareness around mental health. They are working with the NEF and PTA to create a Zen Den at the high school. A place to give anxious and worried students a dedicated retreat to find the tools, resources, and support they need.
