About NEF
Sparking Possibility for Every Northville Student
The Northville Educational Foundation brings our community together to spark curiosity, inspire learning, and expand opportunities for staff and students across Northville Public Schools.
As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, NEF works with families, educators, businesses, and community partners to fund educational experiences beyond the district’s resources.
What Your Support Makes Possible
Through NEF Grants, staff and students bring creative ideas to life through projects that enrich learning, encourage innovation, and strengthen school communities.
NEF also supports student assistance, the Northville STEAM Fair, Parent Camp, and educator leadership development. From hands-on learning to resources that support connection and well-being, these opportunities help students explore their interests and discover new possibilities.
Our History
Founded in 1999 by Northville school parents and community leaders, NEF began by funding teacher grants and student assistance. Since then, the foundation has contributed over $2.5 million to Northville Public Schools, supporting classroom resources, innovative programs, and educational experiences across the district. Our work continues through a shared commitment to helping every student learn, grow, and thrive.
Our Mission
NEF fosters and enhances educational opportunities and academic excellence for all students by providing aspirational funding beyond the Northville Public School District’s resources.
Our Vision
NEF is committed to be the premier non-profit educational resource for district-wide, groundbreaking educational programming that inspires Northville Public School students to ignite their curiosities and explore their passions with pride and purpose.
Your time, talents, and generosity help turn ideas into opportunities for Northville students. Make a gift, volunteer, or explore ways to partner with NEF.
